Upscale Coffee Brand Helps Put Fun and Flavor into Fundraising

Tampa, Fla. (PRWE March 27, 2008 -- More than 20 percent of U.S. residents drink at least one cup of coffee every day. Why shouldn't proceeds from that cup of coffee benefit local communities?

Now they can. Tampa-based Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company has launched an innovative, yet simple way to raise funds for non-profit organizations and schools nationwide. For every bag of coffee or tea purchased, Joffrey's will donate 20 percent of the sale, excluding shipping and handling, directly to the specified organization. Joffrey's also will continue to donate 20 percent of all subsequent sales through re-orders by telephone at 800-458-JAVA (5282) or online through the fundraising sales Web site. Buyers must specify whole bean (W or ground (GRND) coffee when ordering.

Every four weeks, Joffrey's will generate a report and issue payment to the organization. In essence, this program will continue to generate funds for years to come when ordering through Joffrey's.
