    TORONTO, March 17 /CNW/ - A who's who of leaders and up-and-comers from
Toronto's corporate, media and political scenes will converge at the Berkeley
Church on Friday, March 28, to help Journalists for Human Rights (JHR)
celebrate its 5th Annual "Night for Rights".
    Since its inception in 2003, "Night for Rights" has established itself as
the biggest and hottest charitable event for the city's rising stars and
established leaders. Ben Peterson, JHR's Executive Director - Toronto's most
eligible bachelor (National Post), Top 40 under 40 (Globe and Mail) - is
pulling out all the stops to bring out the best of the best. Previous Night
for Rights attendee's have included: politico's Michael Ignatieff and David
Peterson; the CBC's George Stroumboulopoulos and Mark Kelly; Global TV's Robin
Gill and Anna-Marie Medawake; the Globe and Mail's Murray Campbell and Greg
McArthur; and journalism giants Linda McQuaig, Heather Mallick, Haroon
Siddiqui and John Honderich.
    This year's party promises to be even better with a surprise big-ticket
DJ appearance - one of Canada's hottest hip-hoper's/DJ's will be playing an
unannounced set. It will make news! Plus, the event features cutting edge
Sight and Sound Art Instillations and super-hot giveaways from Vespa and Air
Canada.

    Journalists for Human Rights (JHR) is Canada's largest international
media development organization. Within Africa, JHR has worked in 15 countries,
assisting local media organizations to reach 20 million people a week with
human rights information. In Canada, JHR has established 25 Chapters (or
clubs) at post-secondary institutions across the country, actively engaging
